T-Shirt Contest Winner: Kiara Yeatman

On behalf of the JamQuest Hoops team we would like to congratulate Kiara Yeatman for winning the first ever JAMQUEST T-SHIRT CONTEST! What a great picture of her in Machu Pichu petting an alpaca and rocking a JQ Clemson T-Shirt! Kiara has an amazing story of why she was in South America that can be found here. She truly has a heart to help those in need and encompasses everything we are trying to do here at JamQuest. In fact, she spearheaded the first ever JamQuest tournament at Clemson University. With Kiara as one of the main leaders, Clemson launched one of the best JamQuest campaigns we have ever seen! There was not a student at the university that didn’t hear about JQ in some way. They spoke to the entire football team and even got head coach Dabo Swinney to talk some trash about beating some of his players! They had a very successful event and we are so excited to see what lies ahead for JQ Clemson.

Kiara studies Biology there at Clemson and has a unique story that shapes why she has such a golden heart for people in need all over the world. She was born in Milan and grew up in Boston but as she was going into the seventh grade, her family moved to live in India. It was there that Kiara was truly exposed to world outside of the bubble that many of us can get trapped in. After living there for three years, her family moved back to the states to Virginia but the seed had been planted and since then, there has been no stopping her dreams to change the world. The summer before going to South America, Kiara spent a summer helping those in Bangkok, Thailand. If you talk to her now, you will quickly realize that Kiara wants nothing short than to change the world. We are inspired by Kiara’s heart, dreams, and drive to help those all over the world. It is an honor to have her be involved with JamQuest. Congratulations again Kiara!
